Emma Bale, DMD

Dr. Emma Bale is excited to be back in her hometown, where she often sees so many familiar faces! She feels privileged to have had the opportunity to serve the Scottsville Community starting in 2022. Dr. Emma looks forward to continuing to do good for years to come! She aims to make your experience at Neville Dental Studio warm and welcoming. To Dr. Emma, a comfortable and relaxed patient will have the best dental experience possible! One of her favorite things about dentistry is seeing someone return to treatment regularly after avoiding oral healthcare due to fear and anxiety.
After graduating from Allen County High, Dr. Emma went on to achieve her Bachelor of Science at Western Kentucky University and then continued on to complete her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Louisville in 2012. After graduation, she and her husband Grant moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where she completed a residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in the Advanced Education and General Dentistry program.
Dr. Emma and her husband ended up residing in beautiful Charleston for the next nine years, where they both advanced in their dental careers while starting a family of their own! A year ago, they moved to be back home and closer to their families. They are thrilled to be back!
When Dr. Emma is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, who keep them very busy and entertained with life, as well as their two pets, Stella and Sky. I especially love camping, traveling, and trying new foods!

Grant Bale, DMD

Dr. Grant Bale enjoys making personal connections with his patients during visits. He believes that getting to know somebody builds trust and that trust can help patients feel safe and comfortable during treatment—which is his top priority besides providing excellent dental care. To him, the people he helps aren’t just patients, but family members within a tight-knit community! Dr. Bale enjoys golfing, hunting, hiking, camping with his family, and coaching his kids’ sports teams in his free time.

Steve Neville, DMD
DMD, Horse Cave Team
A native of Horse Cave, KY, Dr. Steven P. Neville is a 1971 graduate of Caverna High School and received his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University. After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1979, Dr. Steve returned to Hart County to join an established dental practice. Soon after, he bought the practice to fulfill one of his lifelong dreams of providing dental care to South Central Kentucky.
In 2006, Neville Family Dentistry was established. Dr. Steve wanted to invest in the community and build a new, state-of-the-art, seven-operatory dental practice to serve his patients better and welcome his son, Dr. Les Neville, and his daughter, Beth Kaumanns, RDH.
In his free time, Dr. Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, at their home in Cave City. He also loves seeing his four children and ten grandchildren whenever he gets the chance.

Les Neville, DMD

Dr. Les Neville loves everything dentistry, from the latest techniques and cutting-edge technology that drives his field forward to the patients he is able to help every single day. As a leading dentist in Horse Cave, Dr. Les is committed to providing quality care and using the newest technology to deliver it. His top priority is understanding his patient’s goals and concerns before recommending a treatment plan. He believes no two patients are alike and that all dental care should be customized to the person. Dr. Les spends his time hunting, fishing, boating, and being with his wife Ashley and their two kids when he’s not at the office.

Oliver James, DMD
DMD, Horse Cave Team
Dr. Oliver James was born in Sunderland, England and moved to the United States in 2013 to further his education. Dr.James met his wife Angelina while in college, where they both competed on the track and cross country teams. Dr. James and his wife have two children, identical twin boys, Henry and Isaac.
Dr.James graduated dental school from the University of Louisville. He loves getting to know his patients and educating them about their dental health to allow them to keep their smile healthy for a lifetime.
In his spare time Dr.James enjoys running, traveling and spending time with his young family.
